Description: August 2017. This is an old video from my archives, so please excuse the audio and video quality. It was shot on a basic action cam that I had at the time. Since it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I decided to shoot the entire stretch of this beautiful, historical line from Patalpani to Mhow on board the Sanawad - Mhow Passenger. There is something magical about travelling on rustic heritage lines that have endured through the decades. Unfortunately such lines have become an extreme rarity owing to an utter lack of respect from (most of) the authorities who are hell-bent on turning every bit of railway line into electrified broad gauge.
